Keto Garlic Butter Salmon with Asparagus

A simple keto dinner that feels fresh, flavorful, and easy to make.
This garlic butter salmon is paired with asparagus for a low carb meal that comes together quickly and works for any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets

  • 1 bunch asparagus

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

  • Optional red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Season salmon with salt and pepper and cook skin side down for 4 to 5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3 to 4 minutes until done. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same pan, add butter and garlic. Cook for about 1 minute.

  4. Add asparagus and cook until tender.

  5. Stir in lemon juice and return salmon to the pan.

  6. Spoon garlic butter over the salmon and top with parsley and optional red pepper flakes.
