This beef and broccoli stir fry is made with tender slices of beef and fresh broccoli in a savory sauce for a low carb meal that comes together quickly.
Ingredients
1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp ginger
½ cup beef broth
1 tsp xanthan gum or cornstarch alternative
Salt and pepper
Sesame seeds and green onions for topping
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium high heat
Add sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside
In the same pan, add garlic and ginger and cook for about 1 minute
Add broccoli and cook until slightly tender
Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and beef broth
Add xanthan gum and stir until sauce thickens
Return beef to the pan and mix until coated
Top with sesame seeds and green onions before serving
